GTD – Getting Things Done

The most popular productivity system in the world, developed by David Allen.

In (really) short, GTD is a system that allows you to collect all commitments you have floating around in your mind, inboxes or on your desk. The key is for you to trust the system to remind you of what you need to do, when you can actually do something about it. This way your own mind won’t constantly interrupt you while at work, only to tell you that you need to buy cat food. It also features a perspective dimension as well, enabling you to keep focus on what’s actually important.

Personally, GTD has changed my life for the better in many different ways, and I believe it can do the same for you. I’ll write a more detailed guide on how to implement it in your life when I have some more time.

To call this a productivity system is actually a severe understatement. It’s more of a life management system.
